Game Rules for "Unlock Our Vault" Game

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
Eligibility:

Our "Unlock Our Vault" Game (the “Game”) is open to all attendees of the National Funeral Directors Association (“NFDA”) convention who visit our booth.
Participants must be 18 years or older.
Open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., except for employees of Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. (“Wilbert”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies, and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household.
Void where prohibited.

How to Enter:

Register in advance at the web address listed in the promotional email alert that you receive from Wilbert to receive a unique four-digit code.
For in-person registrants, beginning on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 12:00 pm CDT and ending on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 12:00 pm CDT, visit our booth at the NFDA and fill out a submission form to receive your code.
Use your code to attempt to unlock one of the four vaults located at each of our four divisions around the booth.
Each code gives you one chance to unlock one vault.
You may only enter once.

Prizes:

Four different prize types are available, one in each vault:
- Coffee mugs valued at $5.00 each – 100 available;
- Water bottles valued at $2.00 each – 200 available;
- Tumblers valued at $8.00 each – 20 available;
- Hats valued at $10.00 each – 35 available; and
- Large travel soft-shell coolers valued at $25.00 each – 10 available.
Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.
Only one prize can be won per person.
No substitution or transfer of prize permitted by winner.
Wilbert reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
All prizes will be awarded.

Winning:

If your code successfully unlocks a vault, you win the prize inside.

Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prizes are the responsibility of winner.
Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to Wilbert to use your name, likeness, and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law.
All federal and state laws apply.

Rules and Limitations:

Only one code per person. Multiple attempts using the same code are not allowed.
Participants may only unlock one vault. Once a prize is won, further attempts are not permitted.
Codes cannot be transferred to or reused by others.

Prize Collection:

Winners must collect their prize immediately after unlocking the vault.
Prizes are not redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other items.

Disqualification:

Any attempt to tamper with the vaults or codes will result in immediate disqualification.

Liability:

By entering the Game, you waive all right to, and hold Wilbert harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in the Game or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Wilbert will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in the Game; any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Game; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the Game, or announcement of the prizes. If, in Wilbert’s opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Game, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Game, Wilbert reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or modify the Game in a manner deemed appropriate by Wilbert. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of date of termination. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries will be declared made by the name on the submission form.

Agreement to Game Rules:

By entering the Game, you accept and agree to these Unlock Our Vault" Game rules (“Game Rules”) and the decisions of Wilbert, which are final and binding in all respects.

Privacy:

You agree that personal information collected and shared in connection with the Game, including your name, company, job title, business phone, email address, cell phone number (optional), and number of locations of your business, may be: (i) processed, disclosed, and otherwise used for the purposes of administering and within the context of the Game; (ii) used by Wilbert to verify your eligibility to participate in the Game; and (iii) processed, disclosed, and otherwise used by Wilbert for the purposes of marketing.
By participating in the Game, you hereby agree to Wilbert’s collection, usage, and disclosure of your personal information, including for the purposes of marketing.
You acknowledge that Wilbert may be required to publicly disclose the winners’ names to comply with applicable law, and you agree to any such disclosure.
Wilbert may use your personal information to contact you about our products and services that may be of interest to you. Game Period:

The Game will run for the duration of the NFDA convention. All entries must be submitted before the NFDA convention concludes.

Choice of Law and Forum:

You agree that all matters arising out of or relating to the Game and these Game Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Kansas, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. You further agree that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this contest and these Game Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Johnson County, Kansas.
